IN Focus First is a mental health practice for adults, university students, and teens across Indiana. New patients start with a 60 to 90 minute comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. Follow-up appointments ensure precision psychiatric medication management and ongoing psychiatric care. IN Focus First aims to simply psychiatry by offering convenient, accessible, and flexible appointment times alongside secure HIPAA compliant patient portal messaging with your psychiatric provider as needed, online appointment scheduling, and often having same week-appointment availability.

How much does it cost to see a psychiatrist at IN Focus First?
An adult comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is $350. An adolescent comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is $450. Adult psychiatric follow-up appointments are $190. Adolescent psychiatric follow-up appointments are $300. All pricing is per appointment.
How much does an online psychiatric evaluation cost?
A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is $350 for adults (60 to 90-minutes) and $450 for adolescents (1 hour 25 minutes). The comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is the first appointment, where your psychiatric provider will review your history, want to know your symptoms, and ask you questions to build a highly personalized treatment plan for you.
How much does an ADHD evaluation or diagnosis cost?
ADHD evaluation is part of the comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. An ADHD diagnosis may be provided during your comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. The cost for this is $350 for adults and $450 for adolescents.
How much are psychiatry follow-up appointments?
Adult psychiatry follow-up appointments are $190 for a 25 minute appointment. Teenager psychiatry follow-up appointments are $300 for a 45 minute appointment.
What’s included in the price?
Each follow-up plan includes the appointment plus messaging with your psychiatric provider between visits, patient portal access, and one-click prescription refills.
How does payment work?
You pay per appointment. For ongoing care, your card is kept securely on file and charged automatically for each follow-up appointment, so there’s no need to re-enter payment each visit.
Do you accept insurance?
IN Focus First is a self-pay practice. We believe providing highly personalized psychiatric care where YOU are at the center of your care achieves best patient outcome. This means we won’t bill insurance directly. This keeps your pricing transparent and predictable, with no surprise bills or denied claims. Since we do not take insurance for appointments we can offer longer appointment times and know you by name. We keep your care private. There is no diagnosis filed with an insurance company. If you have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill to submit for possible reimbursement.
Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?
Possibly. If your plan includes out-of-network behavioral health benefits. We provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurer to request reimbursement. The amount reimbursed depends on your individual plan so be sure to check with them.
Do I need insurance to see a psychiatrist online?
No. Because IN Focus First is self-pay, you can book online and be seen without going through insurance, referrals, or pre-authorizations.
